Connotations I want to get at: global consensus, chronos > kairos (ie objective measured time over subjective sense of time, externalized), maximal synchronization/coherence. Synchronicity kinda gets at it, but is too strong. That's synchronization to the point of serendipity.

I always thought of it as a force of cultural atomisation over time, i.e, monolothic broadcast media -> democratized broadcast media, and the resulting divergence in culture, rather than a focus on people's experience of time itself, but perhaps you're talking to something else
