I’m still interested in turning myself (or rather the pile of stuff I’ve written) into a bot. once made trained on my tweets to spout vaguely me-like tweets. Another friend tried to train a neural net on all my blog posts but it wasn’t enough data. Ideas?

Make this the new TwimeMachine! (Twitter Markov Generator Bot as-a-Service)

Add your tweets, or better yet only use those.
Also its nearly the armpit of the year you don’t have much time to get this done!
While it's definitely possible to get better than Markov chain results with few shot (or pertained and then fine-tuned) NNs, the recent replication of the full GPT-2 model has been underwhelming. It seems like results that have led us to believe otherwise were cherry-picked! 😕

Let's face the reality, fully automnomus won't be that great as of now, use the existing solution but with man-in-the middle deal.
You, somebody you trust or a Twitter poll can be consulted to edit/approve/ choose the best response or message.
TLDR:Introduce editorial tooling
