I think I just hit some sort of length record in my email-notes-to-clients writing. Almost 5k words, which is like my median for ribbonfarm writing pre 2018. Maybe I need to start blogchain-like notes for my consulting clients too.

I'd love to experiment with this idea. Tried various "client blog" type projects over the years but none stuck

I’m *very* wary of subjecting clients to any medium beyond email. It just won’t get read/processed. I only reluctantly escalate to spreadsheets and slides when forced to.
Some clients like working on docs, but it only works if they start the doc and I edit within their frame

the hypertext is the master; i taxidermy into PDF because hashtag core competency

This really is true. My mental model of clients is a consumer of the medium I use with them. So half sparring partner, half reader-of-email.
Like Igoe finger-eye being in UX.
Boxing gloves and inbox is how we appear to each other.
Yeah client is the medium for sure. That said sometimes it's valuable to ship messages in mediums that surprise them
