The bigger the following someone has on Twitter, the less likely they are to generate any signal. 10k is probably the limit.
Above that you’re probably getting noise, validation for stuff you already know, sentiment recognition, radiation to BIRG, or light entertainment.

Not false humility. It’s just the dynamics and constraints of large followings. Any signal I’m still capable of generating has moved elsewhere. It’s just not possible to emit signals beyond a point of scale.

What’s the sweet spot? At <1k I could still use more engagement.. maybe 5-6k is optimal?
