If you see a connection between two unrelated domains, just break it and move on. Developing it just creates drag and clutter 90% of the time. It’s very unlikely you’ve discovered one of the fertile connections that make up the remaining 10%.

imo developing these right can be enormously rewarding it's just that it takes huge expenditure of energy to do it right. like at least 3x normal work, 1x for each field and 1x for the connection between them
