I agree about it not being complex - at least complexity isn't what makes it hard to automate. I was tempted to compare to your Ceiling Fan Problem but don't think it's that either. More like sales, the interpersonal empathy is fundamental to the job
@kneelingbus re your latest, I’ll bet against you; I don’t think flyering is that complex. Rich interpersonal status dynamics are a total red herring.https://kneelingbus.substack.com/p/95-stuck-in-the-middle-with-you?token=eyJ1c2VyX2lkIjo1MzMxNzksInBvc3RfaWQiOjkzNzEwLCJfIjoiem9MMmkiLCJpYXQiOjE1NjQyNDUyOTMsImV4cCI6MTU2NDI0ODg5MywiaXNzIjoicHViLTEyNjQ1Iiwic3ViIjoicG9zdC1yZWFjdGlvbiJ9.QqtWHhfCbZKcf6KUzRHJp3-RRPMNvRS0RGhCRml24_U …

My point is, functions are never automated by teaching machines how to do it like humans but refactoring the job so it is doable by machines. So the complexity is moot.
