+1, good advice. I registered my LLC using http://northwestregisteredagent.com and I've been happy with their service. You can register a WY LLC company from outside the USA.

Also, above $70k it's worth it to become an S-Corp for tax reasons, but don't bother before then. It's a one-page request you submit to the IRS. There's a deadline to submit it each year but they're usually lenient about submitting late (just got my confirmation).

I actually went the other way, from S-Corp to LLC, despite being above that threshold. The paperwork simplification is huge and there is no tax disadvantage in most solo cases if your CPA knows what they’re doing. You choose whether to file as a sole prop or a corp each year.
