I’d say only if fixed income equates to relatively fixed geolocation, like in NYC. I think mobility is a generator of ambition or at least of aspiration - the more we’re exposed to higher values or social roles the likelier we are to internalize them as aspirational things

Not at all, but you know, 'cognitive load', stress in a few too many ways. That stuff really puts a damper on any kind of productivity. Some of us are stubborn bastards though.
