I’m an admirer of yours. I’ve lived in LA, and I’ve visited India a number of times. I’m curious about your remark on the limitations of monolithic cities; how LA and Indian cities compare and contrast.

Yes. I’ve experienced different levels of steady state from small towns to huge metros. Learning curve levels off in about 6 months if you’re not super exploratory, and then there’s a steady state diff that’s a function of city size.

It’s all about loops. People setup loops and stick to them. Reduced the cognitive load and increases repeatability. Also makes sure they can find time for friends.
