A very compact way to explain mediocrity philosophy is this: non-attachment to finite games (5 words). Unfortunately those who can’t process the Carse reference will almost certainly misunderstand it. Carse references are like dependencies on a major library.
Technically there’s only one infinite game and attachment to it is simply desire to continue living (or more broadly, remain part of the life process...)

I need to reread Carse since in some places he says there's only one infinite game (which I understood as life itself) and at others he implies there are many. I suppose the contradiction can be resolved as a fractal of infinite games contained in the main one?
