Yesterday when we were driving out of a mall parking lot after paying at machine, the gate automatically opened. No need to insert ticket. When paying, it also asked if we needed help finding car and showed a photo/space number. License plate was being tracked entry to exit.

Of course the danger is, once the infrastructure is there for capitalism, it is inevitably also coopted by the state and the crowd
