I write by hand so rarely now that it actually feels uncomfortable. To think I used to write entire essays and exams by hand. Would a better pen help improve stamina? Use to write with a fountain pen until college (school required it). No issues drawing though.

I use an iPad Pro - the big one and I love writing on it. It’s nearly addictive writing on it. I take all my notes by hand now ...

I've had that for 4 years, and I was that way for a while and then got sick of handwritten notes. Mainly use it for drawing now.

I’m in the same camp. Feels unpleasant even to sign myself.
Don’t think a pen is the answer

Curious, do you write lightly or apply enough pressure to feel on other side of the paper? Unrelated (or not) but, it came to mind.

I print, but a better "flowy" pen allows for longer writing times, especially cursive.

I wonder if it's a buffer fatigue. I find it hard to handwrite these days because by the time i finish a sentence i already got bored and forgot what the next one should have been. Getting used to typing, which is way faster, might have killed off something important for it.

A montblanc insert fits precisely into a G2 pilot barrel. $15 for a $200 writing experience.

I feel the pen ease and applied pressure are def considerations to stamina. I’m personally most articulate (and succinct) when I write ideas out compared to other used mediums (typing and voice dictation). That may be because I need to conserve more energy.

I’ve gotten hooked on _buying_ fancy pens but don’t use them enough.
Try handwriting tweets, maybe it increases engagement?
