I kinda want to run a global snail mail conversation just to experience the nature of pre-telegraph “globalism with delay characteristics”
As a teenager I was briefly into ham radio. It has a culture of sending QSL postcards post-radio-connection.

Paper Internet. Coordinator runs a speed-dating type google form and connects people via snail mail addresses at random. Exchange postcards, tweet them when received.

When I applied for grad school in the US all we had was snail mail. Phone calls were too expensive. Believe me, you don't want to experience that.
