Who/what defines "unnecessary" sprawl? Why is it desirable to pack people together as densely as possible? What's the optimal goal? Hong Kong but denser? You are not going to convince others of your point of view if all you can do is repeat slogans, without justifying them.
I now believe cities should be built around automobile traffic rather than walkability. ButvEVscrathrr than gasoline.
