Thanks. It’s a statement I’ve used for a while now. Lived in all three places . Born in NYC. So it’s truth. In LA now btw. Overall it’s the best of the 3 places for the arts today.

Stronger overall (but more diffuse) than New York even. Can’t put my finger on it. New York is sort of self-consciously trying to be some superego-based “classic” version of itself like European cities. This is all id.
