it's one of my favorite feeds personally even though i only really get a quick look when paying/charging other people

The creepiest part is that your feed is public by default, last I checked. Full name and profile pic are easily retrievable. The API doesn’t have any documentation but you can figure out the endpoints pretty easily.

I fill mine with shocking purchases, truthfully, most are simply moving money across accounts. "Are you okay?" Is my most received txt message.

There’s a great story about the Venmo social feed. Helped product go viral. Reminds me of the Facebook controversy circa 2007 with launch of News Feed. It’s easy to opt out of the Venmo feed, though. I personally don’t want to share my transaction history with random strangers.
