Bookmarking and social bookmarking used to be called WORN: Write Once, Read Never. Twitter is TORN: Tweet Once, Review Never. Slightly better but not by much.

A very cool thing about having an elaborate 🕸 of threads on twitter is – when new people find and discover you, they start favoriting all these old tweets, and you get to "feel" the paths of their choose-their-own-adventure journeys. It feels a little transhuman

You have greater faith in the future of twitter as a product than I do. I don't think it's worth investing effort in using the product in ways that they are more likely to work against in the future than support.
