I'm trying to choose between 4 ways of approaching a book-length topic.
- An Alice in Wonderland type adventure
- A gnomic short-paragraphs thing like Wittgenstein or Reality Hunger
- A mix of exposition and parables like GEB
- A straight up non-fiction account

On a scale of 1/10, I think my ability to pull off the 4 strategies is 4/10, 5/10, 3/10, 7/10.
I'd also like to attempt full-blown fiction for this type of topic in the future, but it's beyond my present skills. Alice in Wonderland type nonsense fiction is as close as I could do

Interesting how you approach this. Though, how do you assess.
With drawing, I once went by instinct/skipped conscious thought. Imagine my Glee when I found 2/3 point perspective.
Is your approach with creative consistent with writing assessment? Am I making sense?

Ideally I'd like to start all 4 tacks and then fail fast in 3 of them and finish on the survivor tack. Don't know if I have the time/energy to do it that way though.
