Great thread! By the way you just spoke about sports, this is a good example of a place where minor characters (as minor as they can be actually) can have a "killing" impact on the outcome. Like in soccer where someone from Defense can score a goal but no one would expect it.

My interpretation: If you were to write a history of the world from your pov what would the main events be? The first event in that list indicates the start of your historical consciousness.

Two types of history: collective and personal/family. Earliest memories are typically of family history. For me: Collective: The 1971 war. We went down to see the trenches. Sirens and blackouts after. Personal: My brother being brought from the hospital after birth.
