What other formal mechanisms exist around the world like global entry, that lower the default burden of interfacing with the state in exchange for money and/or lowered privacy?

One I recall from when I got my first passport in India: an ECNR stamp, for “emigration clearance not required” — waiving default protection mechanism designed to protect low-education migrant Indian workers in the Middle East where they’re vulnerable to exploitation

I have very weak preferences when it comes to privacy. I’d accept 10x more surveillance if it meant 1/10th government paperwork.
