IIRC, lots of simulations show that free-riding usually caps at something really really low (~10%) to be effective. Too many free riders and the group you are free-riding off of is hurt. Ie there is an optimal, and very low, amount of parasites.

get easy hanging fruit first, with all tools available solving problems becomes clear thinking, decide and click. Work smart vs work hard. The work hard relegated by the robots and people in less developed countries. Me? floating in the air and ready to suck the honey out of it

two main modes of free riding today as I see it: free riding that's a grift (abuse of assistance programs by wealthy) and free riding that's stupidity (wealth redistribution through purely the market)

former is mostly bad; not much reason to justify it. latter is largely good and should be encouraged.
