Ah found the right question for what I’m actually drilling for. What was the top example in your life when you choose inconvenience over convenience when you didn’t have to? How did it turn out?

Practically: engaging with unfamiliar/ incomprehensible bureacratic, social, language, transport systems. Really it's that if I stuck to a more convenient life script I'd be much wealthier without putting in much additional effort. Travel was falling off a conveyor belt?
