Ah found the right question for what I’m actually drilling for. What was the top example in your life when you choose inconvenience over convenience when you didn’t have to? How did it turn out?

Shit I almost never choose inconvenience. I *am* Fukuyama Last Man. Anytime it looks like I’m doing an inconvenient thing it’s because I’m avoiding something even more inconvenient (walking or taking bus because I dislike the attention driving requires and hate parking)

Wow, I could the same thing about me, including the driving part. The last time I did something inconvenient that wasn't a tradeoff was the 30-day cold shower challenge, and it felt great. Now that I think about it, I probably need to introduce some challenge into my life again.
