Ah found the right question for what I’m actually drilling for.
What was the top example in your life when you choose inconvenience over convenience when you didn’t have to?
How did it turn out?

Shit I almost never choose inconvenience. I *am* Fukuyama Last Man.
Anytime it looks like I’m doing an inconvenient thing it’s because I’m avoiding something even more inconvenient (walking or taking bus because I dislike the attention driving requires and hate parking)

Underlining books with a straight edge instead of freehand. Takes me 5x longer to finish books now.

Waking up at 430am everyday
SUCH a game changer.
Before I start my work day at 930am I have had 5 hours to myself, doing things that I love doing - meditating, reading, writing, singing, working out, getting my son ready for school, a gorgeous breakfast, newspaper etc etc etc

I drove from Austin to Atlanta to DC, then back, instead of flying to Atlanta for a wedding
Excellent decision. Would've been stressful to fly, but driving (while MUCH longer) had a nice, steady pace to it. Got to see some beautiful bits of the country I'd have missed otherwise

Long-term international travel. I'd say it turned out really well without being able to provide much tangible evidence to demonstrate why/ how.
