As someone who appreciates a good metaphor, I have no idea why spoons help elucidate anything about this. I've never met anyone with infinite spoons. I don't understand why someone needs more than a couple of spoons anyway; can't you just wash or reuse them?

What a bunch of drivel. The "spoon metaphor" isn't a theory. It seems designed to be relatable to people, but doesn't actually help anyone. Only reminds them of how much worse they are somehow. How talking about spoons helps if just telling peers your shortcomings fails?
