Widely noted: Blogs lower stamina for books, and tweets for blogs. Less noted: DMs/slacks with little/no threading lowering stamina for long email conversations on a single topic. I remember really deep-nested email chains 10y ago. Now I beg thread bankruptcy at ~2 nestings.

I’m fascinated by comic books and graphic novels not just surviving but thriving in a positive feedback loop with movies/TV. I don’t read them much (poor modern comics literacy) but it’s amazing how the form an adjacent-possible medium just beyond what movies seem able to handle

Longform prose needs to come into some sort of similar relationship with conversation stream media. If your blog post can’t go somewhere DMs and twitter can’t go, don’t even bother. Longform needs to be exploring today what twitter might get to in 10y. MCU = 1960s comic roots.

I'd like to see what's coming after this stage, or characterize the direction of this shift, but all I get is "less context needed" on all bands. Against an older history of remembering, a newer regime of not needing to reference nor forget.
