Simpler version of this game: what books/authors are you fine grokking at Wikipedia-summary level? Example of one of mine is Judith Butler. I recognize her work is life-defining for some, but I feel no need or desire to go beyond her Wikipedia page. But I do need at least that.

A twist on various favorite author/book prompt games is to assume good compression and summarization. Example if you had 100 standard-sized books (and 1 book = 20 good Wikipedia glosses), how much would you allocate to actual books? Respond with glimpses of your compressions.

Semi related - I’m undergoing some post-scientism voluntary re-education but the idea that great ideas can be identified by the fact that you don’t need to read the original texts to continue to be very compelling in 2019.
