Here I am, on August 6 2007, hearing about Dunbar’s number for the first time from a blog commenter. Some day the tools will exist for people to comprehensively map their actual learning curves based on when/where they learned key ideas.

For the commenter's question - Has the Dunbar Number changed since 'tech'? Whatsapp and FB groups, and even Twitter exchanges, would have had *some* effect on both the number and type of people you maintain relationships with, and why.

more centralized internet means idea clusters have a certain gravity to them. the ideology conversion funnel
