What are some good “world generator” systems along the lines of Game of Life or Rule 110, but with more meaningful, ideally anthropomorphic, semantics? One reason Myers-Briggs is so awesome (beyond trolling psych and stats majors) is that it’s almost a world generator.

is Myers-Briggs a world generator in the sense that all models of the world/people that attempt to be exhaustive are world generators? not sure i follow

As in, it's a closed relationship calclus of sorts that can generate simple stories. Example "an INTJ and ESFP decide where to go for dinner" has an archetypal mini-story you could tell

Honestly, Dungeons and Dragons character classes map pretty well to personality types. All the additional options such as race/alignment/ability scores and the rules that govern how they play out add up to a great quantified systematization of otherwise murky subjective stuff

Are you looking for simple systems of computation that lead to both pseudorandom, complex behavior as well as pockets of predictable structure which can be simulated with a simpler model than the system itself (e.g. gliders in game of life with no other cells in vicinity on)?
