I’m moving the breaking smart list to substack this week. There will be broken links galore, which I may or may not ever get around to fixing. Main immediate reason: substack is free while mailchimp is now costing me $90/mo.

Mailchimp has been aggressively pivoting towards serving marketers over publishers. They do have a free tier, but it tops out at 2000. My 2 lists together now top 10,000 and I'm in their metered pricing zone. They're doing some big updates now which I'm not hanging around for.
Substack big draw back for me is not owning the URL.

Well, you don't on mailchimp either, and that's the comparison to make not blogs. I suspect they'll end up offering custom domains at some point.

Hey there Venkatesh. I'm sure if you gave Sender.net a go, you'd hang around for a long time. The pricing is more than attractive, you'd get email automation, and the new email design editor is extremely high-end!
