This is like an extension of failure to model other minds on simple knowledge states. Like young children figuring out at some point that if you move ball from box A to box B while someone is out of the room, they’ll answer wrong if asked where the ball is when the return.

Not sure I'm getting your point. Is this similar to fallacy in history that humans evolved in a linear progression from chimp to homo sapiens, when actually there were many species of human all evolving at once, until recently?
