Thought provoking! Still I remain optimistic. It's easy enough to engage a curious mind with reality. Virtual worlds might satisfy our flippant desires, and they will update at increasing speeds, but they do not compare. The best virtual worlds will better prepare us for our own.

People were never that interested in space travel to begin with. Why would you put that much money into space travel if you could put it into healthcare, social security, etc?
