Is it a middle-age life-stage thing to be generally creeped out by young people (<22 is my current definition)? Or is Gen Z uniquely creepy?

There was definitely plenty of that there, too, but this feels like more than that. It's like an entire generation decided to cosplay friendly robots, some out of an Invasion-of-the-Body-Snatchers-like fear that everyone else had already become one for real.

It was the height of Normalcy, and it makes me itch to think about trying to live within it. The seventies I think I could hack, but the fifties might have killed me.
