10 years ago, I made an argument that disproportionate per capita use of planetary resources by US ( currently ~24% of world gdp with 4% of population, though that’s a proxy measure) should be analogized to brain in body (2% of mass, 20% oxygen share).

Which does bring up the problem of non-SI quantity derived figures of merit(see en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Figure_of), and of little awareness when it comes to non-dimensional quantities(en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dimension) & non-linear units(e.g. cf. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nat_%28un 🆚 en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Parts-per).
