I think it's interesting to contrast this with a different stream of techEmploymentTwitter which complains about being "being pushed too hard". I suspect these are two sides of the same coin. 1/

Of course there ARE unreasonable demands, and managers who make jobs impossible through lack of support or whatever. But it's ALSO true that purpose=working really hard, to the point you fell you'll break; and that you can't get that same feeling if you're NOT pushed/driven... //
