We need a notion of digital squalor. If bits were atoms, almost the entire digital world would be a massive, fetid slum, with all of us sitting around in our own filth. Normal disgust responses don't quite work on this. We are a lot more forgiving of digital squalor than physical

No one is organized. This is to me the prime import of "personal email server" scandals- even people with all the resources and assistance in the world are resorting to crude strategies like lots of email addresses

I want a workflow engine for my email. Flags and folders aren't enough. If everything I had to do were in a Finite State Machine of some kind my productivity would skyrocket.
