Trying to kill twitter is going to be 2020s equivalent of trying to kill email. Each attempt will chip away at a piece of what twitter does, until only a hollow core of automated alert and spam tweets remains. And you'll use it mainly to yell at brands about bad customer service.

You are forgetting about the whole massive market of startups that are are going to make bank trying to be X for business.
Yammer parlayed it into an acquisition, and at least Salesforce and ServiceNow have gotten miles out of it.

Email can't be killed predominantly it's decentralised, though. Twitter is just masquerading as a similar thing.
