I’ll say one negative thing about MCU movies: they’re mostly boring to rewatch. One-pass stories without much by way of layers that repay a 2nd or 3rd pass viewing. All the big franchises are that way. Rewatching n-1 before n feels like refresher homework more than pleasure.

I think R rated movies are often more rewatchable. They are made for an adult, less mass-market audience. Commercially successful, rewatchable, R rated action movies that come to mind: Matrix 1 Terminator 2 Braveheart Gladiator But I also love Kung Fu Panda and The Incredibles

Deadpool movies are re-watchable 😏...1 thing my brother pointed out was that @Avengers End Game had some Return Of The King LOTR vibes...Which I agree with, but the LOTR movies are quite re-watchable IMO. Most re-watchable movie? That's a worthy Twitter polling question to ask?

Not MCU, but I just rewatched Deadpool 2 yesterday and I think I liked it even more than the first time. I haven't purposely rewatched any of the MCU movies. Sounds miserable.

Yeah tbh never felt need to rewatch prior to latest instalment. Kinda like some solid potato chips by and large

It might just be Disney movies. The new Star Wars rehashes are also very tedious to rewatch; the flaws stand out so much more on reinspection.
