Hm, i read American ham radio operators did cooperate to produce false readings on our over-the-horizon radars back during the cold war. Mostly out of self defense, since the radars annoyed everyone with noise, but still. So, for radar UFOs my bet is on electronic warfare tech.

Given the amount of credence high-level officials have given the ET/“alien” hypothesis over the years, why do you think it’s not more popular among scientists? https://www.wanttoknow.info/ufocover-up

"High level officials" are rarely exemplars of scientific sensibility. Scientists are doing the right thing. Extraordinary claims require extraordinary evidence etc.

Read Jacques Vallee’s various books if you want to understand the reasons the phenomenon is poorly understood. Then read up on what Carl Jung had to say on the topic.

Met the guy who filmed this, the sighting pulled a million or two views on YouTube. He was out in Utah for an advertising shoot and supposedly caught this when going through the tapes. He swears it’s legit, ¯\_(ツ)_/¯https://youtu.be/P9EZm6o6JAI

The main videos that got traction have a lot more “analysis”
