It’s not a game, it’s a way of keeping score for other games.

Definitely infinite, reminds me of Andy grove's high output mgmt section about how some people are not motivated by absolute amounts of $, but relative amounts to their peers -> these people can be _infinitely_ motivated

On a separate level, if you believe money represents value of something else, the amount of money created is proportional to the value you can create <- infinite game

Wealth creation is an infinite game. Money is a medium to represent wealth. Money/debt can be created to exchange future wealth. Could argue wealth creation is somewhat capped by human lifespan, but we inherit and eventually immortal.

This is something I’ve struggled to understand. A man borrows $100 and owes $110. In a closed system, where does the $10 come from?

Finite in the sense that you die and can’t take it with you. Also finite in the sense that money can be obliterated by war, revolution and inflation. Infinite in the sense that the great investors of history tend to make the pursuit of money a lifelong pursuit.
