It's so absurdly OTT it's designed to be camp, but I've seen many, many other examples of corporate cult-creation that are straight up indoctrination attempts.

It’s not what’s attempted, it’s whats achieved. Compared to actual cults the effects of these things are a joke. There *are* corporate cults but this is not usually the type of programming involved for the most part (modulo some sales orgs/Amway-ish)
