The idea of a group having a “fitness” in an essentially competitive landscape is a bit out of tune with the western zeitgeist, though it’s knocking on the door quite heavily, as all true and ignored things.

The closest term in mainstream use is probably “social capital”, but that refers to a society’s internal robustness only. By contrast, asabiyyah seems to have an “outwards strenght, ability to conquer and prevail” aspect as well. Sweden doesn’t have that.
