“Recycling” served its purpose to raise consciousness around closed-loop material flows, but it’s kinda good that the myth is collapsing. Gotta make more stuff out of aluminum and PET. Better local recycling economics and easier to sort it from waste. (Someday, maybe unrecycled waste is the exception to be managed and not the rule.)
