Truth as a function of time is undertheorized. The truth of a statement often depends on severity wrt asymptotes over a time horizon
For eg: “Net calories deficit causes weight loss” is true if the deficit is bigger than a threshold value and your time horizon is > several weeks

Eric Brewer defined partitions as “a time-bound on communication”, which has gnawed at me for maybe similar reasons. *When* must a delayed reply be counted as a failure? Truth has a similar quandary at scale. If not immediately resolved, it’s still bound to a frame of reference.
