I'm sure there are references to Nana Phadnavis (alt. Fadnavis) in all texts that deal with the Maratha wars - a crucial tipping point in Indian history.

Pan India Maratha empire was established by Peshwas (Brahmins) in the name of Chatrapati from Satara who were militarily light weight. In Maharashtra Brahmin hate is peddled by Marathas & hence Peshwas are ignored. Sharad Pawar uses Peshwas in derogatory way for Mr. Fadanvis
