website question: I want to move my tempobook.com site from wordpress to a static single page site, since I no longer update that blog. Planning to put old posts there into a single PDF. Same domain, but URLs other than root will no longer work. What's the solution?

301 redirect seems wrong since I am not actually changing the domain, just simplifying what's there... so URLs which vanish will 404, so maybe just put the PDF itself on a nice 404 page? That'll probably hurt SEO but it's not a high-SEO site anyway

There are ways to export all the pages to a static site
E.g.

Thought of that, but I don't actually want that I think, since I don't plan to update the blog part at all, having a blog-like navigation structure will look weird. I'd rather just have a main page with a book buying link, and a second page hosting a PDF or epub of old content

Cool yeah. Then 301s are what you want. They're path specific so each page would need a 301 redirect to the new PDF page

So I just need a wildcard way to do that for all pages on github or somewhere
