I’m getting more rational with age (a kind of dementia) because I have less of every kinds of surplus (time, money, stamina, inference speed, vision, free association boldness, arithmetic accuracy, binge recovery time, ankle sprain recovery time, dashing good looks) to work with.

So I’m forced to develop efficient and rational systems rather than just picking a goal and fugueing it.
My first book, (written 2009-11), I just fugued it. Inspired outline done in one shot on a long flight. Then free-form execution.
Book 2 I need to invent a system first.
