This question is so funny to me because aphasia is relatively common due to strokes. I've never heard of aphantasia!

Aphasia is complete loss of speech though right? Not just inner speech.

Oh, aphantasia. Now I have a name for it, thought I was the only one.

When I had my speech-loss migraine, I was able to “feel” coherent thoughts, but unable to articulate them internally or externally. It didn’t feel unusual (apparently I often speak before internal articulation), until I tried it.

Yes. I have no internal monologue but can invoke one. Others cannot even invoke.
