I wish I knew where to find tech people who just give power away. It seems like there’s certain limits where you really have to look and act like them and tell them what they already want to hear socially & politically.

Doesn’t work that way. You have to take it from where it’s lying neglected in blind spots labeled “boring shit”.
Ask what they have filed under “boring shit” and invariably they’ll have a few keys to empires lying around they’ll be grateful to get rid of. If they’re any good.
