All insurance products are based on the premise of spreading idiosyncratic risk across a sufficiently large pool. Climate change is the ultimate covariate risk, so unless you find clients on Mars your insurance product is going to go bankrupt.

Well...depends if u want to insure against climate change or climate shocks. The negative effects of climate change are not uniformly distributed across earth. Mars insurance buyers might not be required...
